Massage Session Mindful Questionnaire
One thing I love during massage sessions as an RMT is when clients discover new areas of their body that they didn’t know were calling out for attention. This is one way awareness becomes heightened and we become more in touch with our daily habits, which in turn shape our lives.
Massage can be more than just touch.
Here are a set of mindful questions to take into the treatment room with you to help cultivate reflection after your experience:
What sensations, emotions, or thoughts arose during the massage session?
How did you feel before and after the session?
Were there any specific moments or experiences during the session that stood out to you?
What did you learn about yourself during the session?
How do you plan to integrate the insights or lessons from the session into your daily life?
How can you continue to cultivate a sense of mindfulness and self-awareness in your daily life?
Do you have any other reflections or insights that you would like to share about your experience during the session?
Do you recall a significant moment where your body shifted into deep relaxation, if so how long did it take?
What was your breathing pattern like during your session?
Did you communicate honestly about pressure, pain and areas of the body that needed to be treated?
